Thank you to everyone who attended the assembly and morning tea.
They have been reading The Gruffalo for Talk for Writing. They have been learning how to make story maps using pictures to tell the story. When retelling the story orally they have been learning actions to go along with the words to help them remember the story.
The
main characters in the story are the Mouse and the Gruffalo and when they are in the woods they also meet Fox, Snake and Owl.
A mouse took a stroll through the deep dark wood...
